Visit Underground Wines then lunch at Barmah Winery
Kick off the day from 1:45pm at Underground Wines where a couple of great winemakers set up shop making wine from not only Mornington Peninsula, but other locations around the state. For your tasting pleasure, under their spacious covered veranda, we will be focusing on MP Grigio, Gris, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Although there are no special wine purchase deals on the day for us, or the public at large, their wines are very competitively priced to sell and do include a free assisted trip for your wine to your boot☺
Next stop is Barmah Park for a late lunch a la European style so please be sure to eat a hearty late breakfast at home. We will kick off with a structured tasting by the owner, or winemaker, of 4 wines, two Pinot Noirs and two Pinot Gris, and followed by a two-course lunch of a main and dessert. Additional wine or beverages can be bought from the restaurant. Wrap up at 5:00-5:30pm
